This is Melanin Crossfitters’ Fall Competition, The Black Out.

All participants must register on Competition Corner at the following link:

Registration is open between November 1 – November 29.

There will be four divisions male and female of:

• Advance
• Intermediate
• Beginner
• Adaptive

** Prizes will be given to the top 3 athletes in each category.  We advise all athletes to please have video verification ready for your workouts as proof of score. **

A portion of the proceeds for this competition are going to Destined for Greatness Outreach Youth Center, Inc.

Destined for Greatness Outreach Youth Center, Inc. (DFGOYC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization developed as a solution to the need for youth empowerment programs.

DFGOYC programs and services are directed toward underserved youth to promote community empowerment, personal and professional development and social independence.

DFGOYC provides mentoring, after school tutorial and study, work study, summer camp, youth fitness, sports, music and internship programs in the Metro Atlanta area.

Prizes will be given to the top 3 athletes in each category.

First place for the advance male and female category will win a Cali shorty Barbell and full set of bumper plates. (Only eligible for shipping in United States).

Top male and female finishers in the other levels will receive gift cards.

 

Melanin Crossfitters are accepting clothing donations for men, women, teenagers and children.

Items can include the following:

• all types of clothing
• shoes

We ask that donations be lightly used (i.e. no holes or tears) or new.

These donations can be scheduled for drop off at a registered box location or shipped.
